01Who we are

Grillable is built and operated by Context Avenue Labs, an independent software studio based in Canada. This policy explains what information Grillable collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

02Information we collect

Grillable is built around a structured interview about a business decision you are facing. To provide the service, we collect:

• Decision content: the text you provide during a Grill session, including your answers, context, and the resulting Decision Record.
• Account information: your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Subscription information: your subscription status, processed through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Basic usage data: session completion, feature usage, and crash reports used to improve the product.

03How decision content is processed

Your decision text is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the interview questions, challenges, and the final Decision Record. This processing is performed under contractual terms that prohibit the provider from using your content to train their models.

Decision Records are stored in your Decision Library so you can reopen and re-grill them later. You can delete any Decision Record, or your entire account and its data, at any time from within the app.

04Sharing of Decision Records

Sharing is always user-initiated. If you create a share link or export a PDF, the contents of that Decision Record become accessible to anyone who holds the link or file. We do not publish, index, or expose your Decision Records by default.

05What we don't do

Across every Context Avenue Labs app:

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not serve third-party advertising.
• We do not collect more data than the feature in front of you requires.

06Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers (such as cloud hosting and, where applicable, AI processing) to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that restrict their use of your information to providing services to us.

07Data retention

We keep your data only as long as your account or vault is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations. When you delete content or your account, it is removed from our production systems promptly and from backups on a rolling basis.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Context Avenue Labs honours these requests for all users, not only where the law requires it. Contact us at support@contextavenue.com and we will respond within 30 days.

09Children

Grillable is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
